Sandra Lee Mitchell, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday March 6, 2024, at South Arkansas Medical Center, El Dorado, Arkansas. She was born on February 10, 1942, in Winnfield, Louisiana to Joseph and Opal Porter. Sandra enjoyed reading her bible and working puzzles, along with watching westerns, hummingbirds, and sunflowers. Sandra loved time spent with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Opal Porter; sister, Maxine Bright; and brothers, Donald Porter and John Porter.

Sandra is survived by her sons, Phillip Mitchell of Stamps, Arkansas, Marvin Mitchell (Karen) of El Dorado, Arkansas, and Kevin Mitchell (Megan) of St. Louis, Missouri; sisters, Mary Mitchell of Millington, Tennessee, and Barbara Mitchell (Travis) of Lewisville, Arkansas; brother, Joe Porter (Mary) of Texarkana, Arkansas; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A visitation will be held at A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson Cemetery, Lewisville, Arkansas. Services are under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas.
