Steven Mark Tatom, 61, of Stamps, Arkansas closed his eyes on July 26, 2023, in El Dorado, Arkansas and opened them in heaven. He was born on January 1, 1962, to Ozell and Pauline Tatom. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his son, Travis Tatom of Texarkana, Texas; daughters, Jennifer Nichols of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Cindy Tatom Roberts (Robert) of Texarkana, Texas; brother, Terry Tatom (Cathy) of Buckner, Arkansas; two sisters, Linda Alford (Bruce) of Lewisville, Arkansas and Penny Cox (Arval) of Buckner, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Austin Hawley, Ashlynn Hawley,  Jace Edwards, Jayden Tatom; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

The Wilderness Deliverance Camp and Barbara Nelson, whom was a 2nd mother to Steve will always be remembered by his family with love and thankfulness for being there for Steven in the last year of his life and special care the last few months of his life. Special friends, Amy Chapman and Miss Shonda Kight.  His loving caregivers, Darrell Cunnikan, Macon Sullivan and Anthony Young. Those who kept his home clean, Lorna Sullivan, Roberta Johnlouis and Sharron Dupleche. These special people did not just care for him, they loved him and were family to him.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday August 5, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Sardis Cemetery Building (former Sardis Church), north of Stamps, Arkansas on Hope Road.
