Obituary

Eddie Sue (Tatom) Aldridge 79 of Stamps Arkansas passed away at her residence on February 25, 2022. She was born October 31, 1942 in Stamps Arkansas to Otra Duel Tatom & Mavis Gladine (Black) Wheelington. During her lifetime, Sue worked for Amfuel in Magnolia, AR and ran chicken houses for many years. She was a devoted wife, caring mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. Sue loved being outdoors fishing, hunting, gardening, flea marketing, tending to her cows, chickens, spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She is greatly loved & will be missed.

Sue is preceded in death by her loving husband of 30 years Michael Ray Aldridge, one brother JR "Jerrell" Tatom, one sister Shirley Tannehill, one step-sister Judy Wheelington Greer, & one brother in law Larry Aldridge. She is survived by one brother Arvis Tatom and wife Sylvia, three sister in laws, Patsy Tatom, Gayle Aldridge, Cora Mae Harris and husband Ronnie. Her children Debbie Stringer and husband Damon, Melanie Jackson and husband Keith, Tamara Greene, Dianne Jetton, Deanna Greene, Michael Greene, Michelle Downs and husband Tommy, Michelle Hanson and husband Chuck, Wesley Aldridge, Waylon Aldridge, Megan Raley and husband Steve, 28 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Cody Wheelington, Miles Hilburn, Samuel Thompson, Wesley Greene, Christopher Baker, Cullen Madlock, John Madlock and Nicholas Stringer.

Funeral services will be held 2P.M. Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with Bro. Jamie Knighton officiating under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery in Stamps, AR.

Visitation will be held from 1P.M.-2P.M. Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
