Tommy "Tom" Stevens, age 75 of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016. Mr. Stevens was born May 19, 1940 in Stamps to John T. and Ruby Nix Stevens. Bro. Stevens pastored several churches for 30 years in Arkansas. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, a 50 year Mason and active in the American Legion. He served the citizens of Lafayette County for over 30 years as an Elected Official in the offices of Tax Assessor, County Clerk and Circuit Clerk.

Mr. Stevens was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Gerald J. Harris.

He is survived by his wife, June Helms Stevens; daughter, Neca Pharr and husband, Robert of Magnolia, AR; son, Randal Stevens and wife, Summer of Magnolia, AR; grandsons, Jackson Stevens, Dalton Stevens and soon to be Baby Boy Stevens; step-granddaughters, Fahren and Blair Pharr; and numerous friends and relatives.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Bro. Adam Rogers officiating along with ministers who surrendered during Bro. Tom's ministry; Eric Barbaree, Jr, David Hampton, Neal Ridling, Scott Glass and Tim Vines. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Stamps.
