Tommy Glendon Strange, 92 of Stamps, Arkansas passed away on May 21, 2025, in Magnolia, Arkansas. He was born on September 16, 1932, in McKamie, Arkansas to Harley and Blanche Strange. Tommy was a member of the United States Army for 4 years. He was also a member of the Lewisville United Methodist Church. He served on the Lewisville city council for numerous years and was member of the Lewisville volunteer fire department until retiring. He loved fishing, hunting and running his bulldozer.
He worked for Colonial Bread Company in El Dorado before taking a job with Scantland Dairy. He was a loyal employee until the dairy closed at which time he became an independent distributor for Borden's milk until he retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy Strange. One brother, Robert Greer Strange. One sister, Elizabeth Emerson. A great granddaughter Annalisa Stacy and one niece Tammy Emerson Moses.
He is survived by one daughter, Mary Futch (Mack) of Stamps, Arkansas. One granddaughter Alesha Stacy (Mike) of McNeil, Arkansas. One grandson Brandon Futch (Aubrey) of Bauxite, Arkansas. One Brother Ben Strange of Meneola, Texas. Four great grandchildren, Avannah Stacy, Gavin Harris (Annah), Rylin Futch and Tynlee Futch. Two great great grandchildren, Emrye Harris and Audrey Harris and a very special longtime friend, Louise Burns.
Graveside services will be 10A.M. Friday, May 23, 2025, at Wilson Cemetery in Lewisville, Arkansas with Bro. Ernie Sorrells officiating under direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home.
