Velma Lee Chamber 88, of Texarkana, TX died Saturday, November 26, 2016 at her residence. She was born on February 29, 1928 in Emmet, AR to the late Wyatt Terrell and Eltiser Washington Williamson.

She was a retired production worker with Long Star Ammunition Plant.

She is survived by: (1) son Johnny L. Chambers, Sr. of Texarkana, TX; (2) daughters Judy L. Chambers and Virginia R. Jasmison of Texarkana, TX; (3) sisters Bobbie McFadyen of Maywood, IL, Helen Mathis of Emmet, AR, Essie Morrison of Hope, AR; (9) grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, (2) great-great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St.
Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Texarkana, TX with Rev. T. J. Roberson officiating. Burial at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.

Visitation will be at Smith Funeral Home Friday, December, 2, 2016 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
