Verdis "Sonny Man" Scott, 88, of Waldo, AR passed away May 07th at Magnolia Regional Medical Center

He was born February 14, 1926 in Waldo, AR. To Walter and Odie Moore Scott.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, wife; Gussie Mae Scott, son; Curtis James Scott, three brothers, & three sisters.

Survivors include: Three daughters; Ms. Joyce Scott of Waldo, AR., Mrs. Verda Sherrod of Battle Creek, MI., & Mrs. Vertis Williams of Magnolia, AR. One Sister; Mrs. Naomia Beasley in Magnolia, AR. Eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 17th at 1:00pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Magnolia, AR with burial following in the Scott Cemetery in Magnolia, AR.

Under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.

Officiating will be Rev. T.D. Ellis

Visitation will be Friday 11:am-5:pm at Smith Funeral Home in Stamps
