Verlene Peggy Reese 63, of Stamps, AR died Monday, January 23, 2017 at Christus St. Michael in Texarkana, TX. She was born August 7, 1953 in Stamps, AR.

She was a member of the Countyline Baptist Church and worked in the sewing industry for many years.

She is survived by: one son David Reese of Stamps, AR; one daughter Candice Reese of Stamps, AR; mother Corine Willis of Stamps, AR; two sisters Joann Perry of Stamps, AR, Gwen Brown of Houston, TX; one brother Rodney Willis of Dallas, TX; two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services at 12p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Smith Chapel in Stamps, AR with Rev. Jerry Satterwhite officiating. Burial at Lakeside Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.

Visitation Friday, January 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
