Virginia Ruth Taylor, age 78, passed away on August 24, 2023. Ruth was born
on February 9, 1945, to Andrew and Verna Mae Nix. Her biggest passion in
life was that of being 'Nanny' to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She retired from A O Smith Funeral Home after 43 years of service. Ruth was
a member of Liberty Baptist Church of Stamps, Arkansas where she was the
pianist for many years.

Preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Nix and Verna Mae (Bailiff) Nix;
first husband Ronnie Watson; and brother, Jimmy Nix, Sister in Law, Mary Nell Nix, and Niece, Carala Castor.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Harvey Taylor; her daughter,
Ginger Russell and husband Robert of Magnolia, Arkansas; grandchildren, Drew
Russell and his wife Amber of Magnolia, AR, Garrett Russell and his wife Cassidy of Magnolia, AR and Aaron
Russell and his wife, Madison of Conway, AR; great grandchildren, Ava Kate Russell, Easton
Jay Russell, Hadley Grace Russell and soon to be a new arrival, Dawson Gray
Russell.

The family wishes to thank all of the special caregivers at Wentworth Hughes House for all of their compassion and love shown during this time. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

Funeral Services will be Sunday August 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with Adam
Rogers and Aaron Russell officiating at A. O. Smith Funeral Home, interment to
follow at the end of the service. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday August 26, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at A. O.
Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas.
