Wayne Higdon, age 78, of Walker Creek, AR, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at his home.
Mr. Higdon was born March 20, 1938, in Taylor, AR to Guy and Lucy (Lynn) Higdon.
Mr. Higdon was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Cleola Gaulden and Doris Harris.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Higdon of Walker Creek, AR; a son, William Douglas Watson and wife Rachael of Springhill, LA; A daughter, Vickie Karen Crossley and husband Mike, of Newcastle, Ok, a Brother Marion Higdon of McNeil, AR; three sisters, Shirley Haire of Lewisville, AR, Wanda Chesshir, of Taylor, AR, and Diane Fletcher of Lewisville, AR; a special brother-In-Law Larry Bethany; three grandchildren, Michael, Jordan, and Kyle.
Graveside Services will be held at Forest Grove Cemetery, in Walker Creek, AR, Friday, September 30, 2016 at 2:00p.m., with Bro Gladney Hunt officiating, under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be held, prior to the service, Friday morning from 10:00a.m. until 11:30am at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, AR.
