William Dale LeMay, 82 of New Boston, Texas passed away, May 4, 2023, at local hospital. Mr. LeMay was born June 2, 1940, in Stamps, Arkansas to William Carl and Julia Pearl LeMay. He was a member of the Mars Hill Baptist Church, and he loved music, playing his guitar, camping, gardening, raising animals and spending time with his family. He was retired from International Paper and red River Army Depot.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Linda K. LeMay, one brother Carl LeMay, three sisters, Maurine LeMay, Margaret LeMay and Martha Vickers.

He is survived by his wife Betty LeMay of New Boston, Texas. Two sons, Terry LeMay (Beverly) of Waco, Texas, and Preston LeMay of Lewisville, Arkansas. One daughter Lori Simpson (Joe) of Buckner, Arkansas. Eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Funeral services will be held 2P.M. Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, Arkansas with Bro. Mike Turner Officiating under direction of Smith Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5P.M. until 7P.M. Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, Arkansas.
