William "Bill" Wesley Stock, 84, of Linden, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas. Bill was born on March 15, 1940, to William Wayne and Roxie Lee (Parnell) Stock in Los Angeles, California. He was a faithful lifetime member of the Church of Christ and worked in retail management for over 40 years. He was known for a management style that empowered hundreds of employees, while still taking time to care for their individual needs. He was also a diehard Razorback fan, loved singing in church and in public as well. Bill treasured the times at the beach with his family and always valued the outdoors. He also enjoyed the instant gratification that working in his yard brought to him, adored his family, and treasured his friends.
Mr. Stock was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 47 years, Doris (Hamilton) Stock; wife of 2 years, Diana Lawrence; and a brother, Robert "Bob" Stock.
Bill is survived by wife of 8 years, Margaret Green-Carmack; two sons, Tony Stock of Baton Rouge, LA, Steven Stock and wife, Isoko of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; a daughter, Janet Sawicki and husband, Mark of Fleming Island, Florida; six grandchildren, Kathryn Palmer, Hannah Palmer, Morgan Darouse, Macey Stock, Michael Stock, and Thurston Stock; three great grandchildren, Charlee Darouse, Hunter Darouse, and Rivers Duncan.
Visitation will be on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 10:00a.m. until service time at A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.at A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR, with Mr. Steve McIntosh officiating, assisted by Mr. Mark Sawicki, Janet Sawicki, and Mr. Ian Ouei as musical director, interment to follow at Sardis Cemetery. Services are under the direction Of A.O. Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, AR.
