Obituary

Willie Ed Bean was born June 2, 1932 to Armanda Forte-Bean and Walter 'Doc' Bean. He spent most of his young life in Fulton, AR where he attended public schools. He gave his life to Christ, and joined Bible Way Baptist Church of Richmond, CA. Willie was called home to be with the Lord on May 15, 2017.

Willie was preceded in death by his son, Willie Ed Bean Jr., and his mother Armanda Forte-Bean.

Willie worked as laborer and a represented Laborer 324 in Richmond, CA. He was in construction business for 40 years and retired. After being retired for 12 years, he decided to go back to work. He worked as a security guard supervisor for DP Security for 12 years before he decided to finally retire for good.

His hobbies included fishing, traveling, gardening, spending time with family and friends and having barbecues.

He is survived by his wife, Lurinza Bean; eight children, Charlie Bean, Rosemarie Bean-Hinchee, Sandra Sue Bean, Jacqueline Ann Bean-Lowery, Patricia Lyn Bean, Christopher Bernard Williams, Jena Marie Tatum, and Jeremey Lynn Tatum; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Home Going Funeral Celebration at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, May 27, 2017,at Smith First Street Chapel in Stamps, AR with Rev. Mark Robinson delivering the eulogy. Burial will be at Cross Road Cemetery in Lewisville, AR under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday, May 26, 2017 at Smith Funeral Home on First Street from 11a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
