Wilma Deane Helms, age 79, of Taylor, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019.  She was born on August 22, 1939 in Conroe, Texas.  Her parents were Curtis and Mary Jane Clark. Mrs. Helms was a member of the First United Methodist Church and an Eastern Star member.  She enjoyed cruising out of Galveston, in which she took 75 trips.  She also enjoyed being with family and playing cards.

Mrs. Helms was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lealon Helms; brother, Curtis Clark, Jr.; and three sisters, Jovita Adams, Suzie Clark and Janis Clark.

She is survived by her sons, Glen Gillum of Victoria, TX, Galen Gillum and wife Heather of Prosper, TX; daughter, Nancy Lofton of Taylor, AR; and 7 grandchildren.
