Wilma Jean Sullivan, age 83 of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017. Mrs. Sullivan was born May 19, 1934 in Okolona, Arkansas. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, and riding around. Other favorites included watching the news and Lawrence Welk.
Mrs. Sullivan was preceded in death by her parents; Albert and Willie Hawley; husband, Jerry Sullivan; and two sisters, Betty Leathers and Marilyn Brown.
She is survived by one son, Mike Sullivan and wife, Georgia of Texarkana, AR; three daughters, Dianna Sullivan Casey and husband, Donny of Baytown, TX; Rebecca J. Elliott of Texarkana, AR; and Lorie Inman and husband, Lance of Texarkana, TX; two brothers, Sonny Gentory and wife, Peggy of Morristown, IN and Rickey Hawley and wife, Jennifer of Ogden, AR; one sister, Patricia Leathers and husband, Steve of Stamps, AR; seven grandchildren, Jeff Sullivan, John Sullivan, Keth Lewellyn, Joshua Elliott, Kaitlyn Elliott, Ashley Summers, and Heather Johnson; six great grandchildren, Adalyn, Cambryn, Parker, Nora, Jack, and Janna; one great-great grandchild, Kolton; numerous nieces and nephews that loved and cared for her; and a very special family friend, Margaret McMurry. .
Honoring Mrs. Sullivan as pallbearers will be Jacin Little, Steve Leathers, Daniel Taylor, Terry Sander, Brad Brown, and Lance Inman. Honorary pallbearers are Ronald Gentory and Harold Cheatham.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, Arkansas with Bro. Andy Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow at Mouser Cemetery in Hope, AR. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
