Wilson Glen Vines, age 84, of Buckner, Arkansas passed away February 9, 2019.  He was born October 25, 1934 in Emmet, Arkansas to Paris and Helen Vines.  He loved the outdoors; he was an avid hunter, fisherman, and farmer.  In his last final years he got much enjoyment from raising two colts.

Mr. Vines was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Fairy Ellen Vines of 51 years; two sons, Ricky and Anthony Vines; two brothers, Glendal and James "Bo" Vines; and daughter-in-law, Barbara Vines.

He is survived by two sons, Kevin Wayne Vines of Buckner, AR, Kenneth Wayne Creech and wife, Patricia of New Boston, TX; four daughters, Sharon Kaye Holly and husband, James of Kilgore, TX, Sandra Blaine of Buckner, AR, Lisa Pasley and husband, Elvin of Minden, LA, Debbie Wallace and husband, Joey of Dubberly, LA; a brother, Harold Vines of Bodcaw, AR; a sister, Margie Vines of Bells, TX; sixteen grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, Arkansas with Bro. Charlie Warren officiating.  Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Stamps, Arkansas.  Pallbearers will be Chris Brown, Ronald Brown, David Cheatam, Andy Haas, J.D. Kingrey, and Harrison Vines.  Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.  Online registration is available at www.aosmithfuneralhome.com
