Winfred Ward, age 94, of Lewisville, Arkansas passed away Monday, June 3, 2019.  He was born February 20, 1925 to Dempsey and Mary Hobbs Ward.  He was a member of Canfield Baptist Church and a Deacon of the church as well.

Mr. Ward was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Dorothy Ward; one brother, Jewel Ward and three sisters, Tenny Louise, Viola and Myrtis.

He is survived by his wife of the home, Irene Ward; two sons, Larry Ward and wife, Belinda of Cave Springs, AR and Ricky Ward and wife, Kim of Lewisville, AR; one daughter, Betty Whedbee and husband, Tommy of Mansfield, AR; two brothers, Roy Ward of Genoa Central, AR and Ellis Ward and wife of Greenville, TX; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 3pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with Bro. Jerry Hutchings officiating.  Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes.  Visitation will be held from 6pm-8pm at the Thomas Street Chapel on Friday, June 7, 2019.
