Winnie Artill Bailey, age 85, of Rosston, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at her home. Mrs. Bailey was born April 9, 1928, in Emmet, Arkansas, to Jesse and Nettie Mae Crider. Family and friends were very important to her; she saw to the needs of the community. She enjoyed cooking and sewing and was involved with the P.T.A. and children's sports.

Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ellis Bailey; brother, Wilton R. Crider; sister, Edna (Polly) Fielding Saurenman; granddaughter, Sarah Diane Bailey; and great grandson, Braxton Mitchell.

She is survived by four sons; Ray Bailey and wife, Leah of Waldo, AR, Robert Bailey and wife, Wendy of Rosston, AR, Wyndell Bailey and wife, Nancy of Hope, AR, and Richard Bailey and wife, Nona of DeQueen, AR; daughter, Kay Rodgers and husband, Gordon of Rosston, AR; grandsons, Jesse Bailey, Jimmy Bailey, Jeff Rodgers and wife, Kim, Curtis Bailey and wife, Amber, Clint Bailey and wife, Janay, and Brandon Mitchell; granddaughters, Jeannie Henninger and husband, Robert, Joannie Hance and husband, Cliff, Jenna Bailey, Laura Ward and husband, Petie, Becky Rhymes and husband, Justin, Jennifer Kilgore and husband, Stacy, Karen Mason and husband, Tyler, and Kayla Carlton and husband, Joseph; thirty great grandchildren; and caregivers, Betty Kirkpatrick and Susan McGough.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2013, at Whites Chapel Church in Rosston, AR, under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes with Bro. Jerry Evans and Bro. Petie Ward officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery in Rosston. Visitation will held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR.
